Securing the future of the Gretna Soccer Club GOAL!
What? We don't own the complex?
Yup, we've been leasing the complex for 4 years now. With volunteers we've managed to figure out how to make net income since the complex was opened.
Volunteers have scheduled quads, cleaned the complex, set up the wireless and cameras, mowed the outdoor fields.....we've all done it because we knew what value it has to the club.
So why do we need your help?
The way that we structure the loan will require us to make a fairly significant down payment up front. The $100,000 goal of our Own the Pitch campaign will provide most of the down payment for the facility.
Any additional donations that are generated will go into outdoor field development.
In the next few years we will reach a point that nearly all of the time available at the complex will be used by GSC teams. Without the complex, teams would be on their own to find indoor time during the winter
Where we are at, where we going:
10 years ago we were a sleepy little club of less that 400. Today we are closing in on 1200. We're the second biggest club in the state, and the only club in Nebraska to win Nationals (2015).
