My name is Nina Beck, and I'm a close family friend of the Melugin's. We are trying to raise money for Casey's new cancer treatment. His cancer has continued to progress and regular chemotherapy is no longer effective. The last resort to his care is a new round of trial treatment in a facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. This treatment isn't covered by insurance and is very expensive. The initial cost is $5,000, not including transportation, food, accommodations, etc.
As a brief history, Casey was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer on August 1, 2012. He has been undergoing several rounds of chemo and radiation since. Despite aggressive treatments the cancer has continued to spread to other parts of his body. This new treatment is a last resort but they are staying hopeful for positive results! This year has been a big year for their family with an engagement, wedding, and Casey officially becoming Jaymi Rae's step-dad. They deserve every chance to have a long happy life together.
Please help us take some of the financial burdens off of the Melugin family and help Casey participate in the treatment that he desperately needs!
