Elizabeth's Eternal Reef
Donation protected
On July 9th, I lost someone very special to me, my mother. Elizabeth Blair was a loved person who always told me that she wanted to be part of the ocean when she passed away.
I've done a lot of research into this and I found many different ways for a person to "live on" after death. I found something called an Eternal Reef which is where a person's ashes are taken to help create a concrete structure which artifical reef formations can be created on. There's a location set up right in Sarasota for this amazing memorial. It's a great way to remember a loved one and also helps to create a habitat for marine life. To learn more about it, you can go to their website: http://eternalreefs.com/
My grandmother and I both agree that this is an incredible idea and something that my mother would have loved. The only problem is that we would need a little bit of help making it happen because it is pricey. So, I'm making this to raise some money to help make this happen for my mom. I would appreciate any donations no matter how small to go toward this. If 200 of my mother's 378 facebook friends donated $20 each, that would meet the goal. Even just sharing this would help me out. Thank you very much.
