Black Lives Matter
Update 7/20/2020: Beneficiary updated! Thanks everyone!
Update 7/1/2020:
Dear donors, I've received an email (and you should have as well) to confirm the intended beneficiary of your donation. Please work with GoFundMe/PayPal to confirm your intended beneficiary. As for this fundraiser, the beneficiary is currently the Black Lives Matter Foundation (EIN 47-4143254), but I am currently working with GoFundMe to change it to be Thousand Currents (EIN 77-0071852) for future donations as they are the fiscal sponsor of the Black Lives Matter movement. From the email I received from PayPal:
"The Black Lives Matter Global Network is sponsored by a registered charity, Thousand Currents (EIN 77-0071852), which receives donations to benefit, and disburses funds to, the Black Lives Matter Global Network and movement. Thousand Currents has agreed to accept grants from PayPal Giving Fund for this purpose. "
I apologize for the confusion this may have caused. Thank you all again for supporting this movement!

Update 6/4/2020:
We hit our goal of $1,000 in just a little over 24 hours! It's people like y'all that makes me feel confident that change WILL HAPPEN! As much as this is a great win let's keep the momentum going as the world is transforming right in front of our very eyes! Love you all!!

In the wake of the recent murders that has shaken up the United States I have started this fundraiser on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement.
As someone that has Black career mentors, Black friends, and growing up among the Black community for much of my childhood in The Bronx and Brooklyn, I am very thankful as they all helped shape me into the person I am today. Please join me in donating to the Black Lives Matter Foundation as I will be matching the total donations up to our goal of $1,000 (I will donate on 6/17/20 unless we hit our goal earlier EDIT:6/4/20: Yeah we kinda did!). Thank you in advance and feel free to share my fundraiser!
