Family in need

I am my family’s sole provider. In the past year, I’ve had one stroke and seizures. I’ve been unable to keep up with our monthly bills. We do not qualify for any government food assistance. Therefore, I’ve had to choose several times between bills and food. I’ve been denied disability because I couldn’t stop working. I’ve never been addicted to any narcotics, or alcohol. We’ve been blessed so far with understanding from our landlord and food boxes. I really don’t know what else to say, except, we really need help. The ISD department is backlogged when it applies to utilities assistance, so, that’s 60-90 days before they get to our case. I don’t have anything that I can sell that would help. What I did have, I’ve sold when I had my stroke. I can’t work the full hours my job requires, as the sleep deprivation would worsen my seizures. I have 4 school aged children. I can’t pay back anyone that would be able to help. Things are rough for everyone, I realize that. I’m just a father trying my best.
