It's never easy to ask for help. Carol suffered several strokes on March 6, 2020, in the middle of the night. This happened just weeks after playing and winning her division in a pickle ball competition. She is unable to move the right side of her body, and very little movement from her left leg. Unfortunately, she does not have the insurance coverage that she thought and is left to fend for herself during this time. She is crying and worried about losing her house and car. She has always been very independent, working as an athletic director at Deerfield Middle School, always going above and beyond for her students. With a very long road to recovery ahead of her, Carol needs to focus her energy on healing and staying positive. We ask that you keep Carol and our family in your prayers during this time.
