Our congregation is made up of Seniors in their 80's and 90's. We provide Services for Shabbos and Holidays as well as a social setting. There are 30 members of moderate means. We run Bingo's and fundraisers but this does not bring in enough money to support our Synagogue. The JCC and Riverdale Synagogue have provided us with some donations for which we are very grateful .
We will have to close our doors by June if we cannot receive more funds.The Rent and Rabbi must be paid. Rabbi Daniel Kronengold has cut his pay down substantially but Rent and other expenses must be met in order to keep our doors open for the elderly in our community.
