Send Logan to Fight in Sanda Worlds

I have been doing traditional Kung Fu since the age of six, and moved to Vancouver to pursue University and training in modern Wushu. I began focusing on Sanda, the combat sport aspect of Wushu, at around the age of twenty, and have been working to push my skills in that sport ever since.
My initial forays into competition weren't very successful, it took me many losses and a lot of experience to get to where I am today. I finally got to a point where I could compete in local tournaments and feel like I was up to the level of competition. As I started to succeed, I also new that there are whole other levels of competition and skill for me to attain.
I finally competed in Nationals for the first time this year, and made the team in the 75 kg division, qualifying me for competition at Sanda Worlds in Indonesia this November 11-18. I'm responsible for paying my way and accommodations while I'm there, as well as making up for any lost wages that this week-long event will incur.
I'm at a point in my martial arts journey where I need to step into that higher level of competition if I want to get better - I need to push myself to face tougher challenges and experience higher levels of skill. That is what Worlds is to me - my first step into a higher level of competition and skill, the first step in my journey to becoming the best athlete and martial artist I can be.
Competing at the World Wushu Games has been a dream of mine since I first learned it existed. This is an experience that I've wanted for a long time, something that I know I have to do - and something that I'm hoping, with the help of this campaign, I'll have the chance to do.
Thank you for hearing my story and for your support on all levels.
