On Sunday, May 11th, 2025, our lives—and the lives of our dear neighbours, Kealey and Oliver were turned upside down.

At 04:50 their 12-year-old daughter knocked on our door, screaming for help. Her father, Oliver, had suddenly gone into cardiac arrest.

Kealey was on the phone with emergency services, and my husband, Matthew, and I sprang into action.

Without hesitation, Matthew dragged Oliver out of bed and began performing CPR. I immediately ran to grab the defibrillator, which was 300 yards away, and brought it back to help revive him.

By the time paramedics and an air ambulance arrived, Oliver had a faint pulse, and they continued the life-saving efforts.

Oliver was placed into an induced coma and spent 3 weeks in ITU.

Thanks to the incredible work of the emergency services, medical teams, and the defibrillator, Oliver made a miraculous recovery.

Oliver is now back home with his wife, Kealey, and their beautiful daughters, and he’s doing better than anyone could’ve hoped.

He's been fitted with an ICD implant to keep his heart in rhythm. His recovery is a true testament to the power of quick thinking, teamwork, and the incredible care provided by the Welsh Air Ambulance.

Now, we want to give back. Matthew and I have decided to take on a skydiving challenge. I'm terrified of heights, but nothing compares to the fear Kealey and her family felt while Oliver was in the hospital.

The experience changed us, and we want to raise as much money as we can for the Welsh Air Ambulance—who were there when we needed them most—and to raise awareness about CPR training.

Why your donation matters:

CPR saves lives. It’s a skill many people don’t know, but it can make all the difference in life-threatening emergencies.

The Welsh Air Ambulance provides critical care, saving lives when time is of the essence.

Every donation—no matter how big or small—will go directly to supporting these vital services.

On Saturday March 21st 2026, we are jumping out of a plane to honour Oliver’s second chance at life, and every donation brings us one step closer to making a real difference in our community.

Please help us in reach our goal by donating today.
