Cuishles Emergency Back Surgery

Donation protected
The past four months have been rough for Cuishle. In the beginning of November Cuishle was diagnosed and treated for the deadly infection pyometra. Her surgery went well and she was on her way to making a full recovery. The following month, just before Christmas, she was diagnosed and treated for a cancerous tumor on her left side rib. The surgery to remove the tumor was successful and the lab results came back negative for any cancerous cells that may have spread. So that was great news and once again Cuishle was well on her way to a full recovery. She was nearly almost back to her happy self again of chasing squirrels in the park, visiting Veterans at the local VA Hospital, and making everyone that meets her and see's her smile.
In February she developed a slight limp in her hind left leg. I took her to the Vet Hospital and she was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) along with a gastrointestinal infection. X-Rays later confirmed that she doesn't have a bulged disk which would cause the IVDD, however, she still has to fight off the gastrointestinal infection. The Doctors believe that the infection is putting pressure on her spine, which is pinching her spinal nerves, in turn causing her back leg to limp. She is currently being treated with rounds of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain relief medications.
Through it all Cuishle is proving once again to be as resilient as ever. She's walking more everyday, in the small amounts that I'm letting her. Her appetite is healthy as she's eating and drinking well. She's getting back to her sassy, bossy self again as she barks at me to play with her. She has truly an amazing spirit and she continues to stay strong. She has a lot of fight and life left in her as she's recovering.
We have come this far with Cuishle after two successful surgeries. She's remaining strong and just wants to be fully recovered again so she can get back to walks in the park, visiting Veterans and making them smile, and making everyone laugh again with her silly antics. With more Vet appointments yet to come, the medical bills are costly. If you can please donate anything to help Cuishle along it would be very much appreciated by so many that adore her. Cuishle is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffy)…happy, selfless, loyal, courageous, affectionate, silly, and strong.  She just wants to be fully healthy and strong again. I'm just trying to find a way to help her.
