On September 29th, we learned that our bright, snuggly, happy, and energetic son, TJ, had been diagnosed with leukemia. We spent the last week at the children's hospital meeting with the pediatric oncology team to learn more about leukemia and how they plan to treat his cancer, including chemotherapy.

This unexpected news has been devastating for our family, and it's also been especially hard on our five-year-old daughter, Maddie, who has had to be away from her brother whom she loves so much; the two of them are inseparable. While TJ's prognosis is good, we have a long road ahead filled with long days and even longer medical bills and other unexpected expenses. We will get through this and are incredibly grateful for all of the support.
