To Phil’s family, friends, and the skydiving community, it is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Phil, aka Damnit Phil. He was a dedicated father, friend, and skydiver. We are here to celebrate the life and legacy of Phil. A memorial fund has been established in his name—In Loving Memory of Phil.

If you ever met Phil, you never forgot him. Phil was a loud, lovable, fiercely loyal friend, and always the first to make you laugh, a legend in the skydiving world coast-to-coast. His signature welcome:

“Fuck you too, motherfucker.”

(Which, if you knew Phil, meant he really loved you.)

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

This fund will help his son Taylor with everything that comes next:

• Getting Phil home

• Funeral and memorial costs

• Immediate living expenses and support

• And all the unexpected weight that grief brings
