PLEASE SHARE! His life depends on this fundraiser. His mind and heart can be healed, we just need help getting there.
My name is Dayna, and for those who know me, knows I will stop at nothing to make sure animals, such as Boone, are saved from their lives being cut too short. I'm part of a non profit organization called Paws of Hope, in which we go out and trap the uncatchable and reunite them with their family, or save the ones dumped, so they can have a chance with a loving home. I was called upon to help a dog in need. Not one that needed trapped. But I couldn't turn down this challenge. This family didn't have the means to provide him with the best possible training to help Boone get his aggression issues resolved and to be rehabilitated. He's only 2 years old. And they decided to surrender him as it was too over whelming to work with what they had. They love Boone- but they know Boone deserves the chance they weren't able to provide. I spent weeks, hours, and sleepless nights trying to find a place for Boone before he was to be scheduled for euthanasia. Owners felt it would be better if they did it while being by his side, rather than a shelter if he couldn't be rehomed. He's only 2 years old, with so much life left to live and he deserves a fair chance. After 30+ calls, all over the states, everywhere had several months of a waiting list, I was able to find placement for Boone in a very reputable "doggy bootcamp." It's an in-house stay. Here in IOWA! Big River Canine Coach in Clinton will welcome Boone with open arms. He stays on sight during the duration of his training. Owners get training also to carry it through while at home. He also has a gauranteed home once he graduates. The only hurdle is coming up with the funds to start this process. But it needs to happen quickly! I've come so far in this process and it's a complete WIN, as long as the funds are raised. We are raising money to cover his boarding and training with an additional week for good measure just in case he needs it- which is likely, and then for supplies to transition to his new family. For his two week stay, it's approximately $2600 after tax. With the plan of an extra week and his training collar they offer there. Any donations received that exceed the goal of his training, will then go toward the things that Boone will need to transition to his new home such as a kennel, dog bed, bowls, blanket, double leash harness, etc. After those supplies are taken care of, any remainder amount will be donated to Paws Of Hope to help with supplies and traps to help with the capture of more dogs that still need our help. There are so many!
I have personally met Boone, and he melted my heart! Anything you can do to help, will be more than appreciated. This means so much to me and the families involved, to help a dog in need and that will save his life in return. There is no amount too small. It'll be a step closer to my goal. You will be a part of saving Boone. This is the last hurdle. Which is why I've started the Go Fund Me page. I want to see this through until the very end. And the "coach" has confirmed that he can be fixed and rehabilitated! Which is great news!
Will you help me make this happen? Can you help me save Boone? ❤️
