Dear Family,friends and cancer survivors that understand how hard it is to live with cancer,
This is Michaels second bout with cancer. We are asking for help with finances because the cost of treatment and recovery is beyond our means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Michael is the love of my life and a very hard working, kind, and humble human being. I know he would give his last dollar to anyone in need, I have seen him do it. We are looking for help from family,friends, and strangers alike. Please help if you can.
For the ones that don't know who mike is here's a little something about him. He is 29 years old. Born and raised in Oakland ,CA (yes he is a raider fan so niner fans please don't let that change your mind lol). He works as a lyft driver in San Francisco. His hobbies and favorite past times are collecting and watching movies,sports,cooking,and English Bulldogs. A lot like other people in this world. What makes mike different is he has battled not only through cancer but has also survived another monster which is drug addiction. Watching him go through treatment of both struggles he has tried his best to remain strong and humble through it all while still supporting others that are going through the same thing. Being one of the closest people to Michael I know that he would take the clothing off himself and put it on someone in greater need. He's not one that likes to ask for help from others because he would rather be the one helping out. So I know I had to reach out for him. He battled thyroid cancer before and he found out that it has returned and spread through his chest.So for all the people that understand how hard it is to go through cancer, and radiation treatment or any other disease at that you would know that it is not only physically and emotionally difficult but it's also financially hard. Surgery and radiation treatment is costly and takes a while to recover from. It will put him out of work for a while. Anything that is donated to Michael would help.
