Whittier Yearbook Project
We are Missouri State University students trying to raise money to purchase yearbooks for 475 students at Whittier Elementary School in Kansas City, MO. These students don't have yearbooks and we wanted to give them the opportunity to have memories that will last a lifetime.
Whittier Elementary Facts!
- Diverse school with about 475 students where over 13 languages are spoken
- 100% of students are on free or reduced lunches
- City Year helps mentor the students in the classroom
475 softcover yearbooks costs $7,125 making each yearbook cost about $15!
We really hope to meet this goal, but if the goal is not met, any money donated will be used to purchase school supplies for the students or memory books. Thank you for taking the time to read this and any donation helps :-)
