After a devastating house fire, this family from the Jamestown S'klallam and Lower Elwha tribes needs your support.

Rachel, Tara, and their three kids are in temporary housing and need to replace most of their material needs: clothes, food, regalia, kitchen items, and everything else taken by the fire. The transition from stable matriarchs in community to sudden displacement and loss is really jarring—they have urgent needs which these funds can provide.

They would also be uplifted by hand-crafted and sentimental gifts if you’re able to deliver them, as a reminder that the kinship webs we build are powerful and loving, especially when we need them most.

We will later share a list of material needs you can provide directly, though for now these funds are the best way to get them the help they need right now, especially since they do not have anywhere to store what they hope to eventually rebuild.
