Deputy Adrian Gomez has been with the  El Paso County Sheriff's Office for over 4 years of dedicated service. He started out as a detention officer with the Sheriff's Office before shortly moving on to graduate from BPO class 12-01 "Gate Keepers" as a Deputy Sheriff.  Deputy Gomez was given the Officer of the Quarter(2nd quarter)at his assigned station bringing in the highest stats for that time period in arrests, reports, and calls for service. In between all Deputy Gomez's hardwork, he currently fell ill to Appendicitis and had to be hospitalized. Though heart breaking, it is because of his hospilization and a result of his blood work that he was diagnosed with Mylodysplastic Syndrome (Leukemia.) Deputy Gomez has started aggressive treatment for his condition. Our hearts and Prayers are with our brother and his wife. We love you and remember brother you are a WARRIOR.
