Support Alda's Family in Their Time of Need.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Alda on the morning of January 2nd, 2025. Over the past year, Alda bravely fought to uncover the cause of her sudden and devastating health decline. In February 2024, Alda unexpectedly lost her ability to walk, and her health deteriorated rapidly from that point forward. Despite her tireless efforts and those of her family, answers remained elusive.

Throughout this uphill battle, Alda’s partner, Jake, stood as a pillar of strength, juggling his role as provider while caring for Alda, their children, and supporting Alda’s mother, Maria, who selflessly moved in to help as a full-time caretaker. Alda’s love for her children was boundless, and she fought with every ounce of her being to stay with them, even as her body and the healthcare system failed her.

Alda leaves behind three beautiful young children who were her entire world. As her family faces the unimaginable loss of a mother, partner, daughter, sister, and auntie, we are reaching out to our community for help. Your contributions will go toward easing the financial burdens of medical bills, funeral expenses, and caretaker costs, allowing their family to grieve and heal without additional stress.

Anyone who knows Jake and the family understands how hard it was for him to accept this support. His dedication to his family is unwavering, and it is for this reason that we come together to stand by him and the children in their time of need.
