Help Save Teddy – My Heart, My Lifesaver

Hi, my name is William and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart.

My dog Teddy means absolutely everything to me. She’s not just my pet, she’s my world, my family, and truly the reason I’ve made it through some of the hardest times in my life. She’s been there for me in ways I can’t even fully explain.

Early yesterday morning around 1 a.m., Teddy suddenly had blood in her stool and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. It was terrifying. She was hospitalized, and after getting initial treatment, I made the heartbreaking decision to bring her home after discharge because I simply couldn’t afford to keep her there. Pet insurance won’t cover it since it’s now considered a pre-existing condition, and my Care Credit is maxed out. I live alone, and it’s the end of the month—I just don’t have the resources, no matter how hard I try.

She seemed okay for a while, but just now, around 7 p.m. tonight—she had another bloody stool. My heart sank. I know she needs more care, and I’m scared.

Teddy has saved me countless times. Now I need help saving her. Anything you can contribute; whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this, would mean the absolute world to us. I can’t imagine life without her.
