**Later in the story we find out Hopeis a boy and I think I’m naming him Scooter.
I picked up this little girl from Willits, Ca. The person who found her said that the people who had her claimed she was thrown out of a car but that there were dependency issues with the people that had her. She was not using her back legs. I took her to the emergency vet and xrays showed she had a broken pelvis and a life threatening hernia. She may never regain use of her legs but only time will tell. I will be taking her to Wasson Memorial Veterinary on Friday August 28. Their initial estimate is $800-1200 for the surgery and they want xrays again prior. I want to get her wheels for her legs but I am going to wait until she is recovered from surgery.
She is an extremely sweet girl, loves attention and can really move dragging her legs. She pulls her diaper off and drags herself to the cat box or puppy pads. She may take a little extra work but she is so worth it. I can’t not help her, she has a lot of life left and will make a great pet. I wish I could keep her.
She will be up for adoption once she is healed from surgery.
Any help to get this girl on her feet would be greatly appreciated
