On Thursday June 25th, Jessica and Derrick Robinson received news that no parent or family wants to hear, their 2 year old daughter, Remington has cancer. Remington had been to the Pediatrician several times in the last several months due to fevers and stomach aches. On Wednesday June 24th, Remi spiked a fever followed by a stomach ache and that is where they felt a mass on her abdomen. Remi was referred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to further testing and that is where they found the mass to be a tumor on her kidney.

As of June 25th, Remi has been admitted to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on the cancer floor where she is awaiting biopsy results to help determine what the next course of action is to help treat Remington. As of right now, we know that Remi’s tumor is located on one of her kidneys and has not spread any where else in her body ( praise Jesus). The waiting game has been the most difficult but The Robinson family has stayed optimistic and leaning on the Lord to help their baby girl. By the end of the week, Remi’s team should have a treatment plan on how they are going to approach the cancer.

If you know the Robinson Family you know their hearts are made of gold and would do anything for anyone. It’s now our turn to help and support them.
