Laying Mukhen (Mike) to rest

Mukhen (Mike) battled with cancer for many years, and despite all of the treatment options attempted, the cancer eventually metastasized and there was nothing more doctors could do for him. He fought honorably until his passing on 04/14/2024. His wife, Iesha, was by his side every step of the way and spent months at his bedside in the hospital helping to care for him and advocate for him when he could no longer do so himself. He was an honest, caring, hard working man, and a great step-father to my 8 year old nephew. Mike saw the good in everything and always put others happiness above his own.

We want to lay Mike to rest with a proper burial, that he very much deserves. The estimated cost of this burial/service is roughly $10,000. Due to his long term health issues requiring him to be on long term disability, Mike's life insurance was cancelled by his employer, leaving us to take on this financial burden alone. Iesha is now a single-mother who is not only providing for her son, but also recovering financially from taking weeks off of work to care for her husband.
