Hello everyone.
My brother Alberto(Abet/Berto) is back home from Houston.
For those who don’t know me, I’m Alberto’s sister, Amelie.
He has been battling this fight with cancer since Dec 2021. He was getting treatment at Northwestern for most of 2022, until his dr felt like she had tried everything she knew. He found MD Anderson out in Houston and the doctors there had a treatment plan he wanted to try. He’s been in Houston since Oct 2022.
Unfortunately he never got to start the planned treatment. When he got to Houston, his kidneys were not doing good and he had gotten an infection and was receiving blood transfusions. His doctors were trying to get all of his levels to a good place before starting the treatment. While in Houston he did additional chemo and radiation sessions. He did go into remission for two weeks, but it came back. After being there for nearly 5months, his doctors felt it is now unsafe for him to continue doing chemo. So he decided to come home.
He is not giving up! He is still in this fight against cancer and knows he has a whole army behind him. We are hitting this cancer hard as fuck and going the natural way and heal his body with the fruits, vegetable and herbs that God has made for us. We plan on having him on an alkaline fruit/veggie diet in hopes it will rid his body of all the toxins. It will continue to be a fight, but y’all know he is a warrior and is strong as fuck!
