Breast Cancer is horrific, and this gal is a fighter!!!!
Our family is seeking prayers and provision to aid our loved one’s breast cancer journey.
Diagnosed in mid March, 2024, Christine has a long and difficult battle ahead as she fights to beat a very rare and aggressive form of this insidious disease. Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma…. found during a routine mammogram, done just weeks earlier.
Christine is a 54 year old mom of 3, grandmother of 5, cherished sibling to 3, and daughter to one amazing momma. She is loved by so many. She too is a warrior with many stories of restoration and redemption yet to be told. We are believing this battle is just another she too shall overcome and share with the world.
Having recently undergone a radical mastectomy on the left, as well as a mastectomy on the right, she now is beginning the next steps including chemotherapy and other associated medications. She too will require plastic surgery at another time; to help the chest wound scars heal in a healthier way.
As we all know, cancer is not just horrific but the expense to treat it is equally unbearable for most to handle on their own. Even with insurance, the copays are already adding up to many thousands. Just one shot she will need 4 times is $374 each!! The costs associated with such care of this kind are staggering!
Christine has spent years volunteering to aid the journey of adults with mental health and addiction challenges. She worked tirelessly for years to help reunify a grandmother and her 3 small grandchildren, whom the grandmother was able to then adopt. Her generous heart to love others well, and unconditionally, knows no bounds.
