On July 18, 2016 around 7:00 pm, we lost Maida Carpio Scott,  in a traffic accident in Washington state, near the Oregon border, while on a solo motorcycle tour of the northwest. She was 47 and survived by 2 beautiful boys age 12 and 13. We have set up a GoFundMe account for the family to help with the difficult journey ahead.

Maida was an amazing mother to Zander and Zevan and her energy and zest for life were inspirational. Maida has touched so many people and in return many have kindly asked for ways to help the family in their time of need. Donations will help fund the funeral arrangements and anything the Zboys will need in the future. All donations are welcome and we are grateful for your generosity.
