Donation protected
The Mighty Roar sends volunteers on short term volunteering projects with disadvantaged communities around the world. In Tanzania, the Maasai who have traditionally adopted a nomadic lifestyle, are finding their way of life under threat. Wanting to embrace the advantages of being part of a settled community, some of the tribal leaders approached the Mighty Roar and asked them to establish a kindergarten and school to educate their children.
These projects are staffed primarily by volunteers. In June 2025, we plan to spend 3 weeks in Tanzania volunteering with the childcare/education project and in the dog sanctuary. Whilst there we will be helping run English lessons, engage with the children and help in the animal sanctuary in any way possible.
In order to do this we need to pay for flights, accommodation and contribute towards the overheads of the projects. If you feel able to donate towards our costs we would be very grateful.
Thanks, Libby and Sophie
