In Memory of Zbigniew Lombara Funeral Family Fund

Zbigniew Lombara niespodziewanie zmarł 28 września 2023 roku w środku nocy na rozległy zawał serca, miał zaledwie 58 lat. Zibi był bezinteresownym patryarchą, który aż do swojej przedwczesnej śmierci zdecydował się postawić rodzinę na pierwszym miejscu.

Zibi pozostawił córki, 22-letnią Joannę i 20-letnią Aleksandrę oraz 16-miesięcznego wnuka Antoniego.

Zibi zmagał się z wysokim ciśnieniem krwi po śmierci swojej zmarłej żony Elżbiety zaledwie trzy lata temu, 18 maja 2020 roku, w wieku 56 lat, po długiej walce z ALS (chorobą Lou Gherigsa), na którą zdiagnozowano u niej w 2016 roku.

Na tym nie skończyły się trudności, z jakimi borykała się ta rodzina. Syn Joanny, Antoni, urodził się 25 kwietnia 2022 roku i przez ponad miesiąc po urodzeniu przebywał na OIOM-ie z powodu drgawek z nieznanych przyczyn. Zanim skończył 1 rok, przeszedł także operację czaszki z powodu kraniostynestozy. Obecnie korzysta z czterech terapii wspomagających jego rozwój. Zibi podjął bardzo trudną decyzję o wzięciu urlopu w pracy, aby pomóc Joannie w opiece nad Antonim w miesiącach poprzedzających jego śmierć.

Zibi był opiekunem dusz swoich córek i wnuka, z którymi mieszkał w swoim domu w Chicago. Alexandra jest obecnie studentką studiów stacjonarnych na Uniwersytecie DePaul, gdzie zdobywa dyplom z projektowania graficznego. Joanna studiuje neurologię w Cathage College w Wisconsin, ale niestety musiała zawiesić studia, aby opiekować się synem w pełnym wymiarze godzin, ale planuje wrócić, gdy będzie starszy.

Celem tej zbiórki jest zebranie środków na pokrycie kosztów pogrzebu, przyszłych niespodziewanych wydatków, edukacji, życia i zdrowia Aleksandry, Joanny i Antoniego. Zibi robił wszystko, co mógł, pomimo tych wszystkich trudności, aby utrzymać rodzinę, ale ostatecznie zabrakło środków finansowych.

Proszę, pomóż tym wspaniałym, silnym młodym kobietom przetrwać ten tragiczny okres w ich życiu. Każda darowizna jest bardzo doceniana!

Zbigniew Lombara unexpectedly passed away September 28th, 2023 in the middle of the night from a massive heart attack, he was only 58 years old. Zibi was a selfless patriarch, who chose to put his family before all else until his untimely passing.

Zibi leaves behind his daughters; Joanna, 22, and Alexandra, 20, and his 16 month old grandson, Antoni.

Zibi had struggled with high blood pressure after the passing of his late wife, Elżbieta, merely three years ago, on May 18, 2020, at 56 years old, after a extensive battle with ALS (Lou Gherigs Disease), which she was diagnosed with in 2016.

The hardships this family has faced did not end there. Joanna’s son Antoni was born April 25th, 2022, and was at the NICU for over a month after his birth due to unkno6n reasons for seizures. He also had surgery on his skull for Craniosynostosis before he was 1 year old. He currently has four therapies to help with his development. Zibi made the very difficult decision to take a leave of absence from his job in order to help Joanna take care of Antoni, in the months leading up to his death.

Zibi was sole provider for his daughters and grandson, who he lived with in his home in Chicago. Alexandra is currently studying at DePaul University full time, pursuing a degree in graphic design, with a minor in Business .Joanna is pursuing a degree in neuroscience at Carthage College in Wisconsin, but unfortunately had to put her education on hold in order to take care of her son full time, but plans to return when he is older.

This fundraiser is being organized to raise money to help cover the funeral costs, future unexpected expenses, education, living and health expenses for Alexandra, Joanna and Antoni. Zibi did the best he could despite all these hardships to support his family but ultimately money became very tight.
