Gladys is my best friend/sister for over 20 years.  She is an awesome chick! She is a wonderful Mom of two amazing boys.   She is full of spirit and life and is one of the most adventurous people I know.  She is always ready and willing to help anyone in need and has a heart of gold.  Gladys has been diagnosed and is currently being treated for Cervical Cancer.   She was diagnosed last month (June) and recently underwent a radical hysterectomy.  Her diagnosis is requiring that she have radiation treatment and chemotherapy.  She is self employeed and does not have the family or financial support needed to maintain her current living situation. We worry that this is going to negatively impact her treatment and recovery.  I wish that my husband and I could fund her ourselves but we just aren't that fortunate.  Gladys does have alot of awesome friends and we thought we would  see if we could get her friends and the community to provide the needed support to keep her warm, loving and adventurous spirit thriving throughout this most challenging life experience.
