Forever in Our Hearts Sivori

Donation protected

Our hearts are broken as we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of our beloved friend and family member Issiaga “Sivori” Sylla. Anyone that knew Sivori would say he was a loyal friend, devoted father, brother, loving husband, and caring son who had a unique way of making people laugh all the time. Sivori worked very hard to take care of his loved ones and everyone around him.

Sivori came to the US in 2001 and stood as the sole provider for his family back home in Guinea. He a was a loyal employee at Coogan’s in Downtown Boston for more than 20 years, a job he loved dearly. Last fall, he welcomed his wife and son to join him in Boston. A dream he worked so hard to achieve.

We are asking the community to keep his wife, son and unborn child in their prayers as they navigate their new reality, as their patriarch is no longer with them.

As his passing was completely unexpected, we are asking the community to come together to help out his family in this time of need. Sivori dedicated his life to taking care of his loved ones and it is now our turn to return the favor. We are grateful in advance.

All donations will go toward his burial cost and long term support for his wife and son as they deal with this tough loss.

He will be laid to rest in his beloved home country Guinea among his parents, as he wished.

Janazah Prayer will take place at ISBCC - 100 Malcom X Blvd Roxbury, MA 02120 on August 23rd @1pm
