A few weeks ago, my husband Dave suffered a seizure which caused him to be hospitalized for 4 days. As a result, the doctor and neurosurgeon have now placed him on a “no driving” protocol for 6 months. Due to the fact that his job at the mill requires him to drive, he will be off work for the entirety of that time. Luckily, his short-term disability insurance will give us a portion of his pay, but the significant decrease in his checks will leave us with nearly a $2,500 per month deficit. I am working two jobs (Dunebrook during the day, Long Beach Country Club at night), but the reality is that I will only make a small dent in the deficit of our bills. This is a difficult thing to do, but we need help. Any amount is appreciated. Prayers are always welcome even if donations are not possible.
