Emergency Moving

Hi Everyone,
It seems like our family keeps getting hit with one catastrophe after another. Three and a half years ago we ended up having to move not long after Lily was born because the house we were renting a room in had been forclosed on.  About a year after we moved to where we are now Sam snapped his leg in two and ended up spending a few days in the hospital as a result.

A couple of years ago Shannon had a back surgery that was supposed to give her mobility back with a 10% chance that she would go right back to where she was at before the surgery, unfortunately she fell right in that 10%.  I fell down a flight of stairs running out the door to go to the bank and as a result was out of work for almost six weeks while I healed.

A couple months ago Shannon was told that she would need to have a new surgery that would restore her mobility and cut down on the constant pain she goes through on a daily basis... which has a 10% chance of failing again.  We received notice from the landlords that rent in the buildings was going up $150 and additional deposit had to be paid by everyone starting December 1st.

In the last month I cut my hand severely at work and ended up missing several days since my work restrictions were "No Left Hand Use" which needless to say doesnt really work in my profession and to top the entire thing off out of the blue almost everyone of the long term tenants in our apartment building has been given sixty days to move without reason.

Currently we are in dire straights, what money we do have is tied up in all of our other bills so saving to move is not going anywhere near the speed it needs to since we have to be out as of the first half of January.  We have been looking around for places that are within our price range and while we have found a few we are still waiting to hear back from we wouldn't be able to move right now even if we did get a new place.

This Gofundme is our last hope for being able to afford to move.  We do not have any other financial assets we can tap into.  I tried going through my 401K but I am not able to tap into it at all it seems, we are unable to get personal loans in the amount needed and we have nothing of major value that we can sell.

In order for us to be able to keep a roof over our families head we need to come up with something in the area of $4400, this has been put up at $3600 because coming up with the last thousand should be doable in the little time we have left but the bulk of it is difficult if not impossible and the fee of using go fund me takes a small chunk out.

People always ask me what I want for Christmas every year and every year I tell them I don't know, this year I want to be able to keep my family in a home together, I want to be able to not worry over paying our current increased rent while saving up for a new place in a short amount of time.  I want my kids to not be worried about having to move again, We want to give them the best present we can this year. A Home.

Thank You to anyone that can help us, even if it is just passing this along to share with others and getting the word out there,
David, Shannon, Sam and Lily
