Blind Sided
When you go in for triple bypass surgery, you hope and pray that all goes well and your heart is stronger than before. Not once, do you think, I hope and pray I don’t go blind from my open-heart surgery. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to my amazing brother-in-law Zay Norman. Zay had open heart surgery in early January 2017 and due to complications, it caused him to lose his eye sight. This is obviously a life changing event. The Normans aren’t accepting this diagnosis and have made countless trips to various doctors trying to find options. They are searching all options including glasses called eSight and stem cell options. Unfortunately, these items aren’t covered by insurance, nor is the travel expenses they’ve incurred and will continue to incur. In addition, Zay, who has been a rancher his whole life, isn’t able to work in his normal capacity due to his vision loss.
Those that know Zay, know he is the first to volunteer for many great organizations and I hope now, we can show him how much he is valued and loved. We appreciate any support you can give he and his wonderful family.
