On November 30th 2016, a tragic accident has changed the lives of my 2 year old great-granddaughter and her family.
Zayla's mom hit a patch of black ice and lost control of the vehicle and her truck plunged into the Clearwater River in Idaho with the the baby still in her carseat. After hitting a tree, the truck rolled down a 32' embankment and landed into the river. With a broken collarbone, Trisha managed to free herself and reach for little Zayla and get her to the shoreline. After climbing back up to the road, a good Samaritan went down the embankment and carried the baby to safety. Little Zayla was air-lifted to Spokane's hospital. It was determined that she suffered from a punctured lung, 3 fractured ribs, a fractured skull in addition to a fractured shoulder blade. She was kept in the Intensive Care Unit for 5 days.
The medical bills are mounting daily for this young family who couldn't afford coverage. They are in dire need of your financial help and prayers. PLEASE donate to help little Zayla and her family. They are worthy of your assistance. Any amount at this point would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
