Hi friends and family, join me in making a difference by supporting a national effort to support teens and kids! I'm running for homecoming royalty at my high school and everyone in the court must select a charity to fundraise for as part of the homecoming process. I'm raising money for National Alliance for Children's Grief. NACG is an incredible organization that provides support and strength to kids and teens dealing with losses. These losses can be both death and non death, which have grown exponentially with COVID. They also spread awareness and educate parents, teachers, and school administrators to better communicate with, notice, and understand a grieving child to accommodate & support child best. This is especially important to me as I've recently watched several tragedies (gun violence, car crashes) occur in my community and they've gone unnoticed or ignored by the school system, leaving many of my peers alone to cope in silence.
