Dear Friends and Family,

I understand how valuable your time is, and I would first like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. My name is Zayde Guilbeau, and I possess an extreme ambition for competition and making a positive impact in the lives of others. I am writing to share an incredible opportunity that I have been blessed with and to humbly ask for your support in helping make it a reality.

At the beginning of my junior year, I enlisted myself in Educators Rising, a national program that assists students like me in exploring the depths of education and showcasing our skills at the national level. Recently, I competed in a highly competitive district-level job interview event hosted at LSUA. I was tasked with preparing a professional resume and cover letter for a paraprofessional job, and then I participated in an analytical interview, where I had to improvise and market myself. Out of multiple candidates, I was blessed enough to receive first place.

Stemming from my achievement, I have been gratefully selected to represent my school, city, and state at the Educators Rising National Conference in Orlando, Florida, from June 26 to 29. At nationals, I will be competing in the varsity-level job interview event, facing the top students from the other 49 states.

This is more than just a competition; it is a magnificent opportunity to expand my abilities and network with current and future leaders and people of success like yourself.

To help make this trip possible, I am seeking a sponsorship of $3,000 to cover travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and participation in a group visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios, a celebration of my hard work. I will be accompanied by two of my teachers and one other student, all of whom have been instrumental in this conquest.
