Zawiya Mosque Extension Project

Asalamu Alaykum, my dear brothers and sisters.
Alhamdulillah, after much anticipation we have recently received the news that Birmingham City Council have given us the go ahead for the construction of an outer building to expand the mosque. The outer building will consist of a 90m² area which is 17m long x 6m wide.
This extension project will allow us to enhance the facilities of the mosque. It will allow the mosque activities to continue but with many improvements as well as introducing further facilities and services to benefit families and communities.
The extension is a replacement of numerous marquees and gazebos (pictured below) which sadly were never long lasting due to weather conditions and wear and tear.
Our team will continue to work tirelessly to preserve and expand on Birmingham’s first ever mosque dating back to 1942, but we need your help. The extension project is already underway and the foundation of the four walls has been put in place (pictured below), however there is still a lot more that needs to be done. We are aiming to complete this project insha'Allah and also renovate the existing building as well as look ahead to exciting new initiatives and projects.
Together, with everyone getting involved, as small as it may be, every donation will make a huge difference. We need your help and call out to you this very day to help us expand Allah's House. May Allah accept all your donations and accept this Sadaqah Jaariya from you.
