Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my best friend, who is going through an unimaginable time. Her husband, Gary, is just 43 years old and currently on life support due to a severe stroke. It has become clear that he will not be coming home.

Gary is kind, funny, and full of life — and far too young to be saying goodbye. He and my friend have shared a deep love and many beautiful memories together for 13 years and now she is facing the heartbreaking task of preparing for life without him.

Through it all, she has remained the kindest, most caring person I know. She would never ask for help herself, but right now, she truly needs it. Medical expenses, end-of-life costs, and the uncertainty ahead are overwhelming.
