We've started the GoFundMe page because we just recently received the devastating news that our 4-year-old ZAVION has been diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer, "DIPG", the same cancer that became well known because of Lauren Hill of Mt. Saint Joseph College. Because of the complexity of this cancer, there currently is no cure for this disease and...... the average life expectancy is approximately 9 months with radiation. Zavion was diagnosed in September and just recently completed radiation. We are completely heartbroken and devastated. We are standing and believing for a miracle but we must also deal with the reality of what is before us.
We're coming to you asking for financial support because, as you know, at times like these, the financial burden is heavy and we're beginning to feel the effects. Not only on a day to day basis but, being that Zavion's condition is terminal, it prevents us from obtaining life insurance to cover at end expenses.
Of course, as we would love to give our little man a beautiful send off, it's a task we cannot possibly achieve without the help of a village. Please consider becoming part of "Zavion's DIPG Village" and donate to our cause. Any and every donation is greatly appreciated.
