06/01/2022 - UPDATE - Baby Zavian had another procedure this morning and is now out and stable. Thank you to everyone that has called, texted, donated and prayed! We all appreciate it so much. Please continue to lift this little guy up. He needs them and so does his parents!
First, I would like to announce that Clint and Zamere welcomed their very special baby, Zavian Ray Barber, into this world on Monday, May 23 at 11:10 pm. This sweet little guy was diagnosed with gastroschisis during pregnancy and has been fighting like a true Barber since he was born. Since birth, he has already had a few procedures and just underwent a major surgery yesterday that has left this little guy in critical condition. As of this morning, he is stable, but the road ahead will be long and filled with other surgeries to heal this little guy. I would first like to ask everyone to lift Clint, Zamere and Zavian up in heavy prayer as this will be a long and emotional journey for them. I am creating this fundraiser to try and alleviate any financial burdens that lie ahead for them. Clint is trying to continue to work and still be present through all this. It has already shown to be challenging for both of them. They need to be there for each other for support, and they need to be there for baby Zavian. Any donations will help cover lost wages they will encounter over the next few months and other medical expenses that they will accrue. Donations will also help cover meals as they will be spending a lot of time at the hospital and away from home.
