To our friends and family,
Our father, Ma Chakongmeng Xiong was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in late January 2022. Despite the terminal prognosis dad tried to fight the cancer with hopes of prolonging his time, but in late May he decided to stop his chemo treatment and transitioned to in-home hospice care. He is spending what time he has left with his family in Wausau, WI.
Dad was gifted with an infectious personality and graced us with his kind and open heart. He was devoted to God and family; he knew when to be stern and when to joke around. He loved the outdoors, if he weren't hunting for small game, you would find him in his garden. Those who knew dad, understood that he had a charitable heart and never asked for anything in return. He would always pay it forward with his time and wisdom.
We will speak plainly. With how quickly his cancer has advanced, it is with a heavy heart that we ask for financial assistance. All contributions will help pay for our father’s medical expenses. We offer our thanks and gratitude for any contributions and/or thoughts and prayers.
