On June 18th, our good friend Scott was driving home with his friend Phoebe after one of their final exams. On the drive back their lives changed forever. Scott and Phoebe were involved in a head-on collision with a transit bus. Scott and Phoebe endured many terrible injuries. The two were extricated from the car, and shortly after were rushed to Westchester Medical Center’s Children Hospital in Westchester.
Scott suffered serious injuries and is recovering in the hospital thanks to an incredible team of doctors and nurses. Scott’s mom has been by his side the entire time. He has been, and continues to be supported by numerous friends and teachers. Thankfully, he is now recuperating at home but still has a long path to recovery ahead of him.
Scott is one of our best friends. He is exceptionally intelligent, funny, happy, caring, supportive, and unique. His amazing outlook on life and his contagious personality can put a smile on anyone’s face. He has an extensive number of friends who would do anything to support him. He is reliable, hardworking, and will always push to better himself and those around him.
Scott and his family will face many unforeseen costs. Over the course of this accident, we have been asking ourselves “Why do bad things happen to good people?” Please don’t let that saying be true and consider donating to Scott’s cause.
We are all here for Scott and we hope that you will be a part of his path to recovery.
With Love,
Scott’s Friends
