Help with Testicular Cancer Bills
Donation protected
Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, our Christmas is going to be a bit more difficult this year. My son, Justin Blandford, was just diagnosed with testicular cancer on Sunday. He's looking at surgery in the next day or two and either chemotherapy or radiation treatments after that. While he is young and his prognosis is hopeful, he's still facing an uphill climb, especially financially. He just started a career in HVAC, which is physically demanding work, the very kind of thing his treatments will make impossible. Even with insurance, Justin will still have expenses that just can't be covered - rent, car, food, even some of his treatments and medications. Without being able to work, these bills will add up quickly and put even more of a strain on him.
We've all been touched by cancer. My husband, Christian, went through this same situation when he was around Justin's age. All of us have had someone close to us who has been faced with this horrible disease and we all know the mental, emotional, physical, and financial hardships it comes with. Any little bit you can spare will help Justin make it through the difficulties of treatment and get back on his feet when that has run its course. On behalf of Justin and our entire family, thank you so much for anything you can offer. God bless you and your family this holiday season.
