Friends/Family
Our good friend and brother Sammy Powers is in need our help. Sammy suffered a very serious leg injury on 28 Feb. He broke his tibia and Fibula completely thru in two locations. He is home resting now until the swelling goes down. He will go into surgery once that happens.
The money raised will go directly towards his medical and living expenses. An injury this serious will likely put him out of work for months. We want to make sure he is focused on getting better with his family and not worrying about any financial issues. The fund will be setup so the money goes directly to their account.
Sammy is a husband and father of five children. Hard worker who always has a smile on his face. He is a US Army veteran who recently served here at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington state.
All of his family and friends up here in the Pacific Northwest would appreciate any donation big or small that you can give. Yesterday on the day of the accident all his friends in the softball community were able to raise $440 to help the family. A big thank you to everyone at the USSSA Superdraft tourney in Lacey, WA for stepping up. It meant a lot to him and his family.
