Can YOU be one of the people who helps give Zaria comfort, care, and time?
Zaria is a 21-month-old little girl living with progressive, drug-resistant epilepsy and complex neurological injury. Despite countless hospital stays, medications, tests, and specialist care, her seizures continue and her condition has now been classified as palliative.
Palliative does not mean we have stopped loving her.
It does not mean we have stopped fighting.
It means the focus is now on comfort, quality of life, safety, and time.
Zaria experiences frequent seizures, including tonic-clonic seizures that put her at high risk. She has feeding and swallowing difficulties, requires a modified diet, and needs constant monitoring and specialized care. Her future is uncertain, and no one can tell us how much time we have—but we do know every day matters.
Her care is intensive and ongoing. It includes medications that cost thousands per month without benefits, specialized feeding needs, medical equipment, mobility supports, frequent hospital visits, and time off work to be with her. This is not something one family can carry alone.
But together it becomes possible.
If enough people come together, even small acts of kindness can create real support.
If many people give a little, Zaria gains comfort, stability, and dignity.
Zaria is a gentle, beautiful soul. She loves cuddles, soft music, being close to the people she trusts, and feeling safe in familiar arms. She doesn’t know the words “palliative” or “prognosis”—she only knows love, warmth, and the world as she experiences it moment by moment.
She is deeply loved by her family, who are doing everything possible to give her the best life she can have no matter how long or short that time may be.
$10 might feel small to you.
But for Zaria, it helps provide:
Comfort and pain relief
Essential medications
Safe feeding and care supplies
Time with her family
Peace during an unimaginable journey
