Zara’s spinal surgery

Hi everyone, my name is Payge. I’ve created a go fund me for my sister and her boyfriend. They’ve had an unfortunate event happen with their pup. She was fine one day and the next day she could barely walk. X-rays showed she had a sprained ligament in her knee due to there being fluid built up around the joint. However fast forward about 2 weeks later she was rushed to the emergency vet bcuz she was in so much pain and lost control of her back legs. She has been hospitalized since Sunday to help manage her pain. Luckily she was put at the top of the priority list at the ER and is now undergoing spinal surgery to remove part of a disc that has ruptured into her spine. Unfortunately several of her discs are showing Degenerative Disc Disease as they are slightly bulging upwards. The surgeon will at least be able to fix the one that ruptured. She will need to be hospitalized for the week and will need therapy moving forward. They are about $17,000 in for her exams/scans, care and surgery.
