Zara's Miracle Recovery: Your Help Needed

Hello, my beloved dog was shot at Deraskar Park.
I was with family and all of our dogs were off-leash. We have gone to this park several times and have had no issues. It’s a beautiful place to go for an evening walk and to let your four-legged friend swim. Well, unfortunately, that night all of our dogs saw a dog on a leash and ran up to the dog, and a little scuffle happened. It was over within seconds, and the man who had the dog on a leash shot my dog after the incident happened. We were a mile into our hike and had to rush her to the emergency vet. On our way, she was going in and out of consciousness. I thought I was going to lose her. The police found us. They tracked us down basically and demanded a statement, and basically said that we were at fault, and the man with the dog on a leash was within his rights because he was “protecting his property.” He didn’t get fined. The bullet entered through Zara’s butt and out her stomach. It missed all internal organs and bones. No arteries were nicked. The vet said the bullet could have nicked her bladder, and that would’ve been a life-threatening surgery, and she could’ve died right away. So, we kept her overnight, and today she acts like nothing has happened. She isn’t acting any different. She still loves dogs and humans.
It’s a miracle I didn’t lose my best friend. Just asking for help for her vet bill. Anything is appreciated. Thanks!
