I have been accepted to present my master's thesis to the International Society of Music Education's special interest group Community Music! This is my chance to tell community music practitioners the impact of character skill development and link the fields of international development and community music-my mission for going to grad school in the first place!
Not being a student anymore I can't use UMN funding to help fund this.  Furthermore, due to summer camp and staff capacity I cannot attend the full conference making me in eligible for their grant funding.
