Hello family and friends, as some of you are aware, my niece Zara was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, as a result, she has had to undergo extensive treatment. She is concluding her first phase of treatment and will be transitioning to the second phase of treatment which is only available in certain locations around the country. This will require her and her family to relocate temporarily. A number of people have asked how they can support the family during this time. We have set up this fundraiser in an effort to offset the cost incurred for her required treatment and care.
Zara is the light of our lives. She is like a daughter to me and a younger sister to my sons. She just turned 8 and is a proud and doting older sister to a 3 year old younger brother and an 8 month old baby sister who both adore her. She is a beloved daughter to parents who are community leaders and who have entrusted their entire lives in service of others. She is funny, charming, affectionate and has a passion for all things magical and whimsical especially unicorns. Despite everything she’s undergone, she continues to be a inspiration to us all through her laughter, love and grace. To know her is to love her and to admire her.
