The Orange Pride Dance Team at Sam Houston State University has achieved something truly remarkable this year. They became double national champions at the NDA Nationals in Daytona, Florida, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievement.

The Story:

In April of this year, the Orange Pride Dance Team represented our university at the highly competitive NDA Nationals. Their journey to this moment was filled with countless hours of practice, determination, and teamwork. When the time came to perform, they gave it their all, leaving a piece of their hearts on that dance floor.

Their hard work paid off as they secured not one, but two separate national titles. This incredible accomplishment makes history as the third time the Orange Pride Dance Team has achieved this remarkable feat.

The Ring Dilemma:

Here's where we need your help. The university has generously offered to provide one championship ring to commemorate their victory. However, there's a twist – the team earned two separate titles, each representing a distinct triumph. We - the alumni, supporters, and families - believe that both of these incredible victories deserve their own special recognition.
