Hi Everyone,
I am making this gofundme to help my brother. I would like to thank everyone who has reached out in support already. My brother Ryan Gray lives in LA County, California and has for quite some time. Saturday February 24th he went to a small gathering of people, he was invited there by the owner of the apartment. He was told to leave shortly after he got there by some guys that are strangers to him. My brother is not a confrontational dude, those who know him know this he’s not violent. He proceeded to leave the apartment and gets pushed down a set of concrete steps on the way out. As if that wasn’t enough 4 guys decide to beat him, kicking, punching while he’s helpless on the ground. Then, one of the guys ran up the stairs back into the apartment to grab a giant knife, after screaming to Ryan that he was going to kill him (which I believe he had every intention on doing) he stabbed my brother in the head repeatedly until he was unconscious and in a pool of blood. Luckily for my brother a neighbor stopped the attack and called an ambulance. Ryan was rushed to the hospital where he was told his skull was fractured in several places, that he had a concussion and needed 21 stitches. The pictures speak for themselves. I am heartbroken that there are people in the world that could do something so terrible. My family and I are raising this money to help with rent and groceries while Ryan is out of work. That’s it. This does not even put a small dent in the hospital bills he will receive, this is strictly to keep a roof over his head while he heals. Most importantly, my family and I ask that you PLEASE keep Ryan in your prayers. Prayers for healing and that the people that did this will be put behind bars so they can’t do this again and that the trial happens quickly as the 2 that were arrested are out on bond.
